This is a great opportunity for someone with a love of golf and history all in one.
Lincoln Homestead State Park has an 18-hole golf course, pro shop, disc golf course, historic cabins, shelter, boat ramp, and playground.
The Park Manager is a vital role within Kentucky State Parks.
Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:
Golf course operations Oversee maintenance of buildings and grounds Personnel management Program development Revenue management Expenditure control Public relations Compensation and

Minimum Requirements EDUCATION:
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:
Must have two years of business, administrative or management experience.

Experience:
Additional education will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION:
Additional related experience will substitute for the education on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.
):
Must be 20 years and one day of age at time of appointment.

( Server Training in Alcohol Regulations) certification from the Kentucky Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control within six months of appointment.

Working Conditions Work typcially consists of office duties in a state park setting.
Probationary Period This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 12 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.
